The Four Seasons of Wellness program is a custom series of retreats and health education and group coaching sessions designed to enhance health by improving self-knowledge and self-care. Join at any time during the year.
Each retreat is four hours and includes yoga, mindfulness meditation, journal exercises, and, weather permitting, walks through the garden and grounds of the Preserve.
The health education and coaching sessions are 90 minutes and cover the evidence-based Duke Integrative Medicine Personalized Health Planning process.
This combination of retreats and health planning experiences supports participants’ inquiry throughout the year as they discover what health means for them and the actions needed to optimize wellbeing. It is ideal for individuals who seek to discover the motivation to take care of themselves and create a lifestyle that nourishes their vision of wellbeing.

About Deirdre Breen, NBC-HWC, RYT, RMT
Deirdre is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, a recent distinction of the National Board of Medical Examiners that recognizes health behavior as a leading driver of health. Deirdre completed the Professional Integrative Health Coaching Certification program at Duke Integrative Medicine in 2013 and blends her coaching skills with expertise in mind-body therapies, including Yoga, Ayurveda, Mindfulness Meditation, and the Pennebaker Paradym narrative approach to health and healing through writing. Her unique background includes 35 years of dedication to healing in addiction counseling, ministry, the Reiki Energy System, and Master Yoga training. Currently, she is earning a clinical Ayurvedic Health Counselor degree. Her skills culminate in a highly educated presence that deeply nourishes wellbeing.
