Volcanoes, diamonds, marble, and fossils… discover how these are all parts of our fascinating geologic cycle in a hands-on program with Ranger Eric Powers. He’s bringing his extraordinary rock collection and invites you to bring your own specimen to investigate together. After the presentation, we will head to the beach to explore and identify some of our local rocks, which surprisingly are not from Long Island!
