Exercise is good for us, but what exactly is going on inside our bodies and our brains when we run, jump, and balance? In age appropriate activities, children 4 – 10 become sports scientists as they discover the science of the body in motion. Activities include a brief talk by Education Manager Tracy Strianese, followed by lots of physical play to experience changes in heart rate and the effects of gravity on balance and jumping, among other concepts.
