School’s Out STEAM Workshops – Monday, January 16

While school is closed, join us for two STEAM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) programs in the Phil Dejana Learning Center!

10:00 – 10:45 – Grades K-2 – FULL
1:00 – 1:45 – Grades K-2
Learn the basics of chemistry as we create chemical reactions using household items. We’ll make explosive Elephant Toothpaste and create a project to take home!

11:15 – 12:00 – Grades 3-4
Mini Science Explorers program taught by Schreiber High School student Alexis Levine. Learn how our environment and climate change affects DNA. Biology and Chemistry will be taught while conducting fun experiments and creating chemical reactions using household items!
