Join Helen Keller Services at Castle Gould for an exclusive “Dining in the Dark” benefit – an extraordinary evening that offers a unique sensory experience while supporting HKS’s vital work. Discover how a meal transforms when experienced primarily through touch, taste, and aroma in a culinary journey designed to inspire and connect.

This immersive benefit offers a thoughtfully crafted farm-to-table menu where contrasting textures and captivating aromas awaken all your senses. By going under blindfold temporarily removing visual cues, you’ll gain a new perspective on how individuals who are blind, DeafBlind, or have low vision navigate meals, physical spaces, and everyday interactions.

Following the success of Family Day, this evening event offers adults an opportunity to connect with community members who will share their personal journeys and learn how Helen Keller Services supports independence, achievement, and community connection for children, teens and adults throughout the NY Metro area, Long Island, and nationally.

Proceeds from this benefit will fund vital programs including:
Early intervention services for children
Camp Helen Keller
Technology training for teens and adults
Communication access
