The Northwinds Symphonic Band presents an afternoon of music, fun for families with children of all ages. Conductors Helen P. Bauer and Brandon Bromsey have put together a program designed to excite the imagination of young listeners and aspiring young musicians. The program will include well-known selections from The Sound of Music, featuring vocalist Karen Murphy, and a medley of music from everyone’s favorite Disney movies.
A highlight of the program will be a musical, narrated version of Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals, brought to life by three members of the North Shore High School dance troupe.
Band members will introduce and demonstrate their instruments, and six lucky children in attendance will be given the opportunity to take the podium as guest conductors!
Admission: Tickets will be available the day of the performance.
Adults: $10
Children 2+: $5 per child.
Non-members: Parking is an additional $15 per car.
