b'WelcomeTonight, we celebrate the Butterfly Ball Patrons of 2018 and 2019 because of your support, we have moved forward with the wonderful outdoor projects that we envisioned one year ago:The organic vegetable garden was completed in the spring of 2018, and the bountiful harvests from this beautiful new teaching facility were shared with families in need. We created anew series of horticulture lectures - Garden Talksto provide the information needed to inspire our community to grow healthful foods at home.The dog run was built in the fall of 2018, and it is a favorite meeting spot for many happy pups and their owners.The fruit tree orchard was started with one dozen young trees, all of which were planted in honor of the donors loved ones. Additional trees will be planted in the fall.The extraordinary Woodland Playground is almost complete! All of the exciting play features are installed, and the landscaping with native gardens and lush evergreens will commence now. We expect many families will enjoy this playful retreat, which we will continue to develop with creative, interactive features.Throughout the four seasons, the preserves magnificent grounds are open to the communityand, with these new projects, there are new ways to engage with the natural world.
