At the White Party in August 2018, the Conservancy honored Amrit Sethi, Conservancy Board Member and Founder of Happy Montessori School, and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County for their contributions here at the preserve and throughout the region. THE WHITE PARTY A Benefit for Education Programs The sumptuous farm-to-table feast was prepared by Philip Stone Caterer. Ranger Eric Powers leads an Adult Nature Program on Wilderness Survival. Family Nature Program: Pond Explorations revealed many freshwater creatures to young explorers. After School Science for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders encourages hands-on experimentation. The Phil Dejana Learning Center, where daily After School Programs connect children with the art and science of their environment.
