Celebrate your mother and all of the great women in your life at the Mother’s Day Tea in the beautiful Rose Garden outside Hempstead House. This event offers a light afternoon snack of scones and finger sandwiches to tide you over from brunch to dinner. Live chamber music accompanies the festivities, and guests are welcome to enjoy the Preserve for the afternoon.
In the event of rain, the Tea will be moved indoors to Hempstead House. There will be no rain date.
For the perfect Mother’s Day gift, please consider making a donation to the Iris Garden in honor of the special women in your life, and support the fourth season of the magnificent iris garden beside the pond.

Children ages 4 – 12: $20 per child
Children 3 and younger: free! If a chair is required, however, the Children’s ticket price applies.

Directions from NYC: Long Island Expressway to exit 36 (Searingtown Road/Port Washington). At the light, make a left and go under the Long Island Expressway heading north. Take Searingtown Road north, it will change into Port Washington Boulevard and then into Middle Neck Road. The Preserve will be on the right.
