The Preserve welcomes schools and camp groups for self-guided visits year-round. Supervised groups of children may visit our nature trails, Woodland Playground and picnic areas.
All visiting groups must register in advance, complete a Facility Use Permit application, and provide a certificate of insurance before visiting. Contact Tracy Strianese, Education Director, at 516-570-2185 or tracy.strianese@sandspointpresere.org to register.
Fees:
$15 per car, $20 per van or $50 per bus
Picnic areas can be reserved at an additional $50 per hour
Insurance Requirements: A Certificate of Insurance is required for all visiting groups naming Nassau County, 1550 Franklin Avenue, Mineola, NY 11501; the Sands Point Preserve Conservancy, 127 Middle Neck Road, Sands Point, NY 11050; and the Village of Sands Point, 26 Tibbits Lane, Sands Point, NY 11050 as additionally insured.
Organized groups visiting without a reservation will not be permitted entry.
