Enjoy a guided walk on our mile-long North Shore beach. Besides the views across Long Island Sound and our tall bluffs, we’ll take a close look at the plants and animals that live in salt water, and observe the features that allow them to tolerate the movement of the incoming and outgoing tides several times a day.

Directions from NYC: Long Island Expressway to exit 36 (Searingtown Road/Port Washington). At the light, make a left and go under the Long Island Expressway heading north. Take Searingtown Road north, it will change into Port Washington Boulevard and then into Middle Neck Road. The Preserve will be on the right.
