A Special Exhibition Celebrating Friendship and Childhood Wonder
On view daily, through September 29, 2019, at noon to 5 p.m. in Castle Gould’s Great Hall.
This magical exhibition features sumptuous illustrations by the noted British artist, George H. Lewis and quotes drawn from the forthcoming book, The Boy and the Boy King, co-created by George Lewis and A.D. Lubow.
The book and the exhibition touch upon the value of friendship, art, spirituality, nature and childhood imagination—themes near and dear to the Sands Point Preserve Conservancy. It’s a show your entire family can enjoy together.
“Arthur and Bun-Bun in The Boy and the Boy King make a brilliant case for why we need to cultivate wonder in our lives, today more than ever” – Jane Curley, Curator of the acclaimed New-York Historical Society exhibitions, “Eloise at the Museum” and “Madeline in New York: The Art of Ludwig Bemelmans.”
