Hempstead House Tours

Spring tours of Hempstead House have ended. Please check back in June for the Summer schedule.

See the grand rooms inside the massive 50,000-square-foot Tudor-style mansion, the former summer residence of Howard Gould (1912-1917) and later Daniel and Florence Guggenheim (1917-1930).

PLEASE NOTE:  TOURS ARE LIMITED IN GROUP SIZE AND TEND TO SELL OUT.  PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY TO PURCHASE TICKETS.  OUR WELCOME CENTER WHERE TICKETS ARE PURCHASED OPENS AT 11AM. 

Hempstead House Tours are $10 per person, payable at the Welcome Center
Tickets are available for purchase day-of only – advance ticket sales are not available
Tour runs approximately 45 minutes
Pets are not allowed inside the mansion; service dogs are permitted
Entrance to the Preserve is free for Conservancy members; $15 per car for non-members

Please note:
Hempstead House tours are designed for adults and 10 year old and up, but all ages are welcome. Photography is allowed.
