Master Calendar

Discover living and once-living fossils at the Preserve as well as giant boulders that were brought here by ancient glaciers. These features, along with our 100-year-old castles and our very own Dino Trail, make the Preserve a fun-filled, educational and historic destination. Follow our indoor timeline to determine the points in the planet’s history that sharks, horseshoe crabs and dinosaurs crossed paths. Enjoy a fossil hunt and follow our map to find other ancient relics.

Start anytime between 11 am and 12:30 pm.

Members: $5 per car
Non-Members: $15 per car

Directions from NYC: Long Island Expressway to exit 36 (Searingtown Road/Port Washington).  At the light, make a left and go under the Long Island Expressway heading north. Take Searingtown Road north, it will change into Port Washington Boulevard and then into Middle Neck Road. The Preserve will be on the right.
