A Tribute to the Father of Modern Rocketry.  On the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing, the Conservancy celebrates Dr. Robert Goddard, whose invention of the liquid-fuel rocket in 1926, underwritten by the Daniel Guggenheim Fund for the Promotion of Aeronautics, propelled the United States space program for decades to follow.  (Event Information)

Take a meditative Forest Therapy Walk, led by certified guide Linda Lombardo. Based on the Japanese tradition of Shinrin-Yoku, a wellness practice developed in the 1980s, each unique walk inspires mindful connections with the natural elements of the woods for a range of healthful benefits.
