Welcome to the Sands Point Preserve! The Sands Point Preserve’s grounds are open for visitors – the Great Lawn, Hempstead House Garden, Woodland Playground, dog run, forest trails, and pond area. Guided Nature Walks 2025

24 Hour Wilderness Survival

Spend 24 hours in our woods during our Overnight Survival challenge! Instructors Eric Powers and Mike Evans will guide this immersive experience, which includes setting up a group campsite, foraging and resource walks, establishing fire, trying your hand at cordage and more.
