Wilderness Survival

Join us for some survival basics from Wildlife Biologist Eric Powers, who is no stranger to studying wildlife in the wilderness. There are many ways to “be prepared,” but the best way is a flexible mind and prioritizing needs. Through this 2-hour program, you will learn survival strategies that apply to any situation so that you can keep a level head in difficult circumstances. You are encouraged to bring one survival item for show and tell and explain why you think it would be important! Dress to be off trail and get dirty.

This program is geared towards adults, but children 12+ are welcome with an accompanying adult.
