Outdoor Adventures with Ranger Eric

Biologist and ranger Eric Powers knows the Preserve’s wildlife and landscape like the back of his hand after years of leading marvelous nature programs. Children’s Programs – Spring ’22

In 2022, Learning Adventures for Children are held outdoors in the diverse environments across the Preserve’s beautiful grounds and in the Phil Dejana Learning Center Outdoor Classroom. Weekly classes of just six to eight children ages 15 months through 14 years foster lifelong connections between art, science, wellness, and the environment. Thanksgiving Day

The Preserve is open to all visitors at 9 am to 5 pm on Thanksgiving Day! Take a break from cooking and feasting with a stroll or hike on the Great Lawn overlooking the Long Island Sound and trails winding through the woods, aglow with late autumn colors. Dance Visions NY on Film: “Evening”

Halloween Photos!

Bring your children (and pets!) in costume to be professionally photographed in a beautiful fall scene at the Preserve. Linda Nutter Photography is generously donating proceeds from these photos to benefit the Conservancy’s Education Programs. Prints and digital downloads will be available for purchase on Halloween weekend!
